Academic she has stayed at the top of her class until the completion of her Master’s Degree, and exit of the higher education system.

Artist Statement

To deform the human form, one must understand it and be able to show that comprehension. Drawing the human form is one of the first things I did as an artist, and it is the center of all that I do.  The prospect of researching ancient and modern cultures to learn their customs and behavioral patterns in order to build rich and fulfilling stories was too big a temptation for me to pass. My art is the vehicle I use to understand humanity, to transform it, elevate it and reconstruct it. Looking beyond the obvious, being engaged in my process in order to capture the truth of my subjects. I don’t just draw the human form I carve it out of paper and pen
